WEND performance board and ski wax announces the hiring of Chris Taylor as Technical Director for Product/Sales.
Chris’ appointment will help grow WEND through enhancing the brand’s product as well as global sales strategy,” said Alyssa Baker, VP, Global Sales.  “He possesses the depth of experience as well as strong technical expertise, both qualities that are necessary to make our campaigns successful.  We are excited to have Chris on board and a part of the WEND team.”

Wend rider Nick Goepper from Indiana, USA won the Austrian Freeski Open at Fritzsteinhorn snowpark on Saturday (March 2) with a first run which scored 93.50 and gave him first place. Goepper won the X Games Aspen slopestyle event in January.

Arbor Snowboards is proud to announce the return of the FACE/OFF amateur and open rail competition at Seven Springs Resort in Pennsylvania on Saturday, February 16, 2013. Wend Waxworks is the official snow wax sponsor for the event. Arbor team riders, Sean Black and Brandon Hammid will be at the event to ride with competitors and judge the qualifying rounds.
“This is our forth rollout of the FACE/OFF event that seems to be gaining momentum. This year we are very happy to announce a series of FACE/OFF events across the country with $1000 cash on the line at each competition,” says Arbor’s marketing advisor, Brad Farmer.

 

This year Arbor has expanded the event to the following dates and locations:
  • FACE/OFF Seven Springs, Pennsylvania: Saturday, February 16, 2013
  • FACE/OFF Cranmore, New Hampshire: Saturday, March 9, 2013
  • FACE/OFF Trollhaugen, Minnesota: Saturday, March 16, 2013
