Martin ‘Marty’ Robertson was born and raised in the small fishing village of Portree, Isle of Skye. Marty started snowboarding when he was ten years old, making his first snowboard ever out of an old skate deck with bike inner tubes cut to size and nailed to the deck as bindings. Later on a family ski vacation to Andorra, Maty got a proper snowboard, entered and won his fir snowboard contest. A short time later he was asked to join the British Snowboard Team, which lead to over a decade of travel and contests across the globe. Marty currently focuses on working with photographers and filmers to gain exposure for both his surf and snowboard sponsors.
