Pro Snowboarder

As far as backcountry snowboarding goes, Robin is one of the top female big mountain riders. Her love of the outdoors and the mountains is what keeps her going year after year proving herself as an adventure addict. “Being outside just makes me happy, so I am always there”. Born and raised on Vancouver Island, she started her snowboarding career later than most at 16 and even managed to squeak in a University Degree in Calgary before committing her life to the sport. Currently residing in Whistler, she spends her winters riding the deep stuff all over BC (but mostly Whistler Blackcomb) and of course wherever the biggest storm is soon to roll in. But the winter never really ends for her as she has spent the last 10 summers chasing powder in Patagonia and hosting a women’s session at SASS Argentina. On top of that, she has a Signature Session at High Cascade Snowboard Camp, because every snowboarder needs a little park in their life! The park is where she started her professional career in 2004, but she quickly turned her eyes to big mountain terrain where she has made her biggest mark. Since 2006, Robin primarily filming and shooting, Robin has filmed over 5 video parts in major industry films such as “Winter Wars”, “Intervals”, and “See What I See” cementing her spot as of the few top female snowboarders in the backcountry. Robin is also involved in a webisode series alongside the industry’s best women called “P.S.” where she can regularly showcase her lifestyle and of course her snowboarding. She can be found on any given day in major industry publications such as Snowboarder Magazine and Transworld Snowboarding amongst others and plans to keep it that way as she loves her lifestyle and the snow too much to give up her stronghold. She has worked alongside a strong roster of women and continues to push the sport in the backcountry. The time she does take away from the snow, you can find Robin camping, searching out surf destinations, and spending time with her Golden lab Stella.
